Lincoln Fireworks

The Lincoln 4th of July Celebration is long running all day event which is the biggest event in Lincoln every year. Today Jan Bedwell from the Lincoln Community Foundation donated $2500 to support the event.

The all day event is not only the largest event in Lincoln, but also the most expensive. Each year the Lincoln 4th of July Committee raises between fifty thousand and seventy thousand dollars. This money is spent for the fireworks, porta potties, security, kids zone, traffic control, insurance, music, and other things.

The purpose of the day long event is to provide a safe environment for everyone with professional fireworks.
