New Stove For Lincoln Woman’s Club

On June 27th 2021 Tom Indrieri, CEO of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerence, was speaking at the Woman’s Club of Lincoln when suddenly they were abruptly evacuated. They thought it was a gas leak, but instead they had discovered their antique stove had quit and needed to be replaced.

They had already had some extraordinary expenses they had to cover and really wanted to reopen the building for rentals which is one of their major fundraisers.  The Women’s Club of Lincoln requested the financial help of the Lincoln Community Foundation, and the LCF was glad to help out.

The Lincoln Community Foundation is always interested in helping out other Lincoln non-profits. The Woman’s Club of Lincoln rents out their facility for various events and is a source of income for them, so it was important for the Woman’s Club of Lincoln to quickly replace their stove so there was no disruption of fundraising.
