LCF Supports Lighthouse Charity Waiters Luncheon
The Lincoln Community Foundation proudly announces its recent contribution to the Lighthouse Charity Waiters Luncheon, an annual event dedicated to supporting mental health programs and family services in the Lincoln area. The foundation’s generous donation underscores its commitment to fostering community well-being and supporting vital resources for those in need.
The Lighthouse Charity Waiters Luncheon, an eagerly anticipated event on the local calendar, promises an afternoon of entertainment and philanthropy. Set to take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Orchard Creek Lodge Sun City, the event brings together local celebrities, elected officials, and corporate sponsors for a lively gathering aimed at raising funds for crucial mental health initiatives.
Guests are invited to indulge in a hosted VIP reception starting at 11AM, offering an opportunity to mingle with Celebrity Waiters and fellow attendees. The festivities continue with a vibrant luncheon at 11:30AM, featuring a live DJ, interactive games, raffle prizes, and more. The highlight of the occasion is the spirited competition among Celebrity Waiters vying for the coveted title of “Celebrity Waiter of the Year,” determined by the amount of tips collected.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource Center, an esteemed nonprofit organization dedicated to serving families in the Lincoln area. Established in 1996 as part of the Western Placer Unified School District, Lighthouse has since evolved into a separate 501c3 nonprofit, expanding its reach to approximately 4,500 Placer County residents annually. Renowned for its commitment to providing quality services to individuals and families in need, Lighthouse has garnered recognition through numerous awards over the years.
