Silver Wishes Christmas Tree Elves Project

Did you know that Christmas decorations can create a neurological shift that can produce happiness? Science has proven that our brains literally flip a happy switch when the Christmas lights come on. For some seniors, it is not physically possible to put up their own Christmas tree and ornaments. And other seniors have had to downsize and may not have a tree and ornaments this year.

The Lincoln Community Foundation has helped Silver Wishes fund ten (10) Christmas trees for seniors that need them. If they already have a tree, our Christmas Tree Elves can put it up for Christmas and take it down after the new year for them. If you know of a senior that doesn’t have a tree this year, we would like to grant the wish of a small decorated 4ft tree. We want to help seniors have a joy filled Christmas season.
